My 12 week old baby boy wants to be fed every 2 hours during the day time and he is so good at night goes for 5 hour stretch of sleep. I’m so exhausted and tired. I don’t wanted to give formula and i exclusively want to breastfeed. Not at all getting enough supply.
Please throw in your suggestions on how to increase supply. Any supplements recommendations, breastfeeding feeding friendly protein powder (being a vegetarian). I’m struggling to bring out every single oz.
Tried everything like oats, garlic, fennel to boost my supply.

I don't have an answer for you. I've been desperately searching myself. My supply tanked when my OBGYN prescribed me the mini pill at my 6 week checkup. My period came like a week later and lasted 2 weeks. I lost my supply during those weeks apparently and my daughter lost almost 1 lb! I had no choice but to give her formula to get weight on her and I cried through that whole first bottle. But as much as I hate to admit it, she is noticeably happier on the bottle than my breast. I'm still fighting to breastfeed. But I've made my peace that if formula is what makes her happy and healthy, then I will not let my feelings get in the way of that. I wish you the best of luck! ❤️🩹

Nothing will work, only your baby’s suction. Eat well and lots of water for you. Try pumping on the other side while he breastfeeds and 20-30 minutes after feeding him pump on that breast for 20-30 minutes. Try pumping every 2-4 hrs for 20-30 minutes and maybe within a week you can see some results. At 3 months there is a growth spurt and that is the longest one.

Like said, it's just supply and demand. Pump or latch more often and make sure you're hydrated!

I’m confused why you don’t think you produce enough?? what you’re saying is normal.
I feel I didn’t produce enough because my baby cries even after feed. Every time had to top up with formula

Hmm… yeah I usually just feed with both breast back and forth until they’re done. If they finish a boob I switch, if they finish the second boob I switch. I do that back and forth or just leave them on the boob as long as they want. It’s supply and demand so the baby stimulates more production by sucking. Babies constantly change the amount they drink based on growth spurts so sometimes you’ll have extra and sometimes you won’t have enough so you have to keep feeding them. Not to mention babies cluster feed a crap ton over the first 6 months. My advice is to stop using formula if you want increase your supply. Then put them on the boob every chance they want.

Body armor helped me I was dehydrated

i try drinking coconut water as
often as i can but i hate the taste so i mix it with body armor or bai. it seemed to help

Coconut milk and brewers yeast helped me a lot. I put the brewers yeast with oatmeal, flax seed, and whatever you need to add to sweeten it up and make that edible to you
