27 week 1 day scan!

Had another scan today and baby girl is such a snoozer! Every single ultrasound she’s just sleeping (always get good profile pics though)! I can feel her move and change sleep positions- sometimes she pushes her head/back and/or but out of my stomach but never kicks, punches or jabs! Hoping this is a sign she will be a chill baby once she’s out also 🙈

I hear stories of people whose babies are bouncing around, flipping and wiggling about on ultrasounds but we have yet to see her move except to slightly roll to adjust her sleeping position!😅

Omg my baby girl the same 😂 she moves but when she does she puts her arms above her face she stubborn I feel kicks sometimes but being o positive i barely feel anything if her im starting to sometimes notice movement but not as crazy which is normal

what does being O+ have to do with feeling movements?

Avatar

my placenta is in the way

Avatar

anterior placenta is very common with O-positive mothers.

Your baby's personality is so cute.
Mine is stubborn and two doctors laughed telling me this and said after 20 weeks you start seeing the personality they will most likely have when they are born. So your bundle is probably going to be chill

it’s actually O+

Very cute 🥰

😱 I’m hoping she’s a chill happy baby🥰

they never told me if I have anterior or posterior placenta. But during anatomy scan the tech mentioned there’s the placenta and it was my left side of my belly. And I notice I always feel her below my belly button and/or the right side of my belly button. But never the top left quadrant of my belly where the wand was when she found the placenta. I am also O+ type

I'm also O positive and have an anterior placenta. There are days I don't feel my boy much but other days he's doing boxing practice below the belly button.
Maybe you have anterior as well because you feel your baby where all of the anterior girlies say they feel.

Avatar

I'm o positive and have posterior placenta 😁

Avatar

Yes my friend is the same as you. It's just very common with O+ women to have anterior placement.

that’s so fascinating to learn. Never knew blood type could affect the placenta placement. And Yupp she pretty much stays away from that corner/section when I can feel her!

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲

Induction?

Anyone been induced before? Was it more painful? Better than thought? Worse than thought? Worth it? Thoughts?

Baby names

My daughter‘s name is valentýna and I’m struggling to find other nice girl and boy names beginning with V I’ve got a few and I’ve got loads that aren’t beginning with V, but I feel like I wanna go for all vs and I also love girl and boys names that match so because my daughter’s name is valentýna I would love to call my son Valentino my husband does not agree 😃

Induction or c section?

As a last resort, would you rather be induced or have a planned c section?

Really not liking the thought of being induced from people’s experiences I’ve read!
