My LO has turned 6 months this week and just seems uninterested in doing much or learning any new skill. He can roll front to back and has tried to roll the other way but has given up trying. He seems to get bored of toys quickly too. I feel like a terrible mum and I'm worrying he is not okay or happy.

Aww.. my LO is the same. Turned 6 months yesterday. Doesn't want to play, do his exercises with me.. bored of his toys and wants to be carried a lot of the times. We got him balloons and he loved it.. gave him his first food banana and porridge..not interested at all.
One thing he started to do yesterday was dropped everything on the floor. Pick and drop.. pick and drop.
Don't worry you are not alone.. they are just growing. And also mine is teething so very very itchy gums.. can be uncomfortable for him i can imagine. Maybe your LO is also teething?

Same my LO is goin to be 7 months tm and she has been doing just a little here and there she has been trying to seem like getting ready to call but she also has been very very fussy when putting her down lately but she is also been teething for a while too š©
@Rupal I think he is teething but he forever seems to be teething and nothing had popped through yet š he keeps sucking his bottom lip in, does yours? I gave my LO cucumber and he loved chewing on it for his gums as its cold too

You're not! My 2nd was the same way! They do everything at their own pace.

Maybe your baby just prefers to be observant & watch what is happening around them?š¤·š¼āāļø Narrate your day {if you don't already} to baby; 'mammy is just making a cup of tea' or, when out walking; 'there's a dog/bird/tree' etc...
My firstborn was the same as a baby, she preferred independent play & 9/10 times she was happy to sit in her chair & watch everything that was happening around her. Months went by before she hit more milestones, for months she'd just watch/observe.
She's 4 now & is very clever! She'll try something new & copes well with change. She's confident & a little social butterfly. It took a little while for her to speak but, all of her motorskills where there {by the time she was 1/2} & she understood what was being said to her. She was able to follow instructions & would do simple tasks. Then once she did start talking she had a wide range of vocabulary & articulates herself quite well {by the time she turned 3}.
Please try not to worry about your baby, they may surprise you!
