Baby will be 4 months in two days. Over the past few days my supply has basically gone. Baby had been fussy at breast for weeks (3 month crisis), and I just wanted her fed so I started giving some formula. We have also been trying to break the feed to sleep habit. I guess I wasn't pumping enough, but I didn't expect my supply to plummet this much. I have also been pretty stressed these past few days about various things. Is it possible to rebuild it or should I just give up? I am now pumping every 2 hours, but rarely more than 50ml.
Baby is starting to refuse bottle now, whereas she previously had no issue with it, and it seems like all she now wants is boob, but there's nothing in there. I am so sad and also anxious because I can see she is not eating enough. Anything I can do beside pumping? If it will even help?

Yes you can build supply up again in a few days by just constantly putting baby to the breast. The amount you express though isn’t related to how much supply you have. It’s baby having wet and dirty nappies and being settled that’s the measure. Four months is a growth spurt time too so baby is going through changes and that’ll make you feel like you’re feeding more as well and the fussiness will be that.

You could try power pumping ☺️ It definitely worked for me as I then had an over supply!

Make sure you stay well-hydrated too. I find that if I’m not drinking more than my usual amount, it can cause a drop in production

Your body just creates what you need, so if you were pumping say 10 times a day at certain times regularly, your body would create more for those times, whereas if baby just wants boob all the time now, your body will catch up, supply and demand is all it is, I used to pump around growth spurt times so I could keep at it easier, and it would take a while to regulate to normal feeding after the growth spurt, just keep at it if you want to carry on
