Pregnancy announcement

9 weeks for our first (at our wedding) and about 11 weeks for our 2nd. We waited to find out gender from NIPT.

i think i was 12 weeks! right after our gender appointment, we had a gender reveal that we said was our combined bday celebration. ☺️

With my second, I was about 10 weeks when we told close family and friends, then i was about 5 months when i told everyone else. I lost 2 babies before my last pregnancy so i was very careful with announcing it. I was always told to wait until after the first trimester to announce it anyways.

So we found out in December and we told my sister, the dad's twin, and a few slect family members. We wanted help surprising both grandmothers. We did Christmas surprises for them both. I told my mom that only the people in the room were aware, so what does she do? Post my announcement on Facebook without warning/telling me. I found out 2 days later. And she got mad at me for not specifically telling her not to announce it. So we had first ultrasound the following week, which established I was 8 weeks along. I wanted to initially wait till 12 weeks, but I was pressured into announcing a few days after the 8 week appointment. A lot of people already knew from my mom, but I don't know what I should have expected from her. She did the same thing with my sister's engagement announcement last May.

so sorry that happened to you ! When my son was born I told my family that I didn’t want to show or share pictures until I was ready and wanted to enjoy the moment! My mom send pictures to her friends and some family members that why I decided when I know my due date I won’t tell anyone since I will be having a C-Section

13 weeks

At 10 weeks I told my parents, 3 months I told friends and co workers, and 20 weeks is when we announced on social media

I’m 26wks and I never announced it. I had a miscarriage in the past. I think I’ll just let people know about the baby once the baby comes out

@Ale I am kind of keeping the name a secret from most people for now. I've specifically told my mom we are NOT Sharing the name until the birth. She's respected it.. for now

After my 12 week scan x

We told family and friends at 14 weeks, we have not and will not publicly announce x

I waited 12 weeks for my 3 pregnancies. Just wanted to make sure everything was going ok before I announced them.

I waited til I found out the gender and just sent everyone a pic of the ultrasound that said girl 😂 I think I was about 15 weeks

I told my mom and my best friend immediately. I’m not announcing to other people until after 10 weeks.
