How did y’all go about asking the doctor to be induced on your due date if they aren’t born yet?

I just asked them if there was a backup plan if I don't pop by due date and they went ahead and scheduled mine. So I would say just ask them

At my last appointment

Dr asked me my birth plan I looked up like what you mean lol she said you wanna be induced or try to go all the way I said I’ll try to go but if inducing will be better I’ll do that, she explained I can be induced at 39 weeks which will be 4/12! I’m already 2cm had appointment Friday and my ob said things are moving in the right direction.

At my 36 week NST, my doctor mentioned it. Because of my age and baby is in oblique lie, that 39 weeks would totally be fine.

My first came at 40 weeks 5 days. So I opted to schedule to be induced, just in case she wasn't ready to come on her own.

I’m hoping to just worst case scenario be induced on her due date ideally but my doctors office seems to be very weird about a lot of things

Period like cramps

Hi
I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and I keep getting period like cramps I thought these were Brixton hicks but I’ve heard they only last 30 seconds ish as this can go on for a good time frame then go away and come back, they aren’t bad enough where I can’t do basic things they just feel like I’m about to get my period I’m jus wondering how normal this is? Baby is still very actively kicking xx

C section or natural?

I am a control freak and thinking c section is the least stressful route for me and baby… less complications during labour etc. whilst acknowledging recovering can be hard.
If it could be guaranteed no tearing or complications then I would opt for natural and kind of want to experience the feeling.
Then again could plan and go either way 😂 arghh!
Anyone else in this predicament?

Midwife check

Can someone remind me when the midwife visits you at home? Is it the day after you’re discharged? And is that the same on the weekend or do they not visit then? Thanks!

Anyone else’s owlet pi##ing them off ?!?! It goes off 5/6 a night saying it can’t get a reading and needs a snug fit. My baby is 8 months old so moves a lot. It is driving me insane and I keep end up taking it off!!
