Almost 8 months

Mine is not either
Every so often he will and I’m thinking that just because he hears sound 😭

My 7 month old does a little I feel it’s because yk how we call the nicknames and stuff well I feel like they get confused so we have started prioritizing his name and looking at him and smiling and I feel like that has helped

Same , my son is doing everything on time and more, but he doesn’t respond to his name . I think it’s because he have so many nicknames he’s confused

It’s like how babies won’t say mama or dada and actually mean it until a certain age. They don’t exactly know what your name is yet so they won’t necessarily know what their name is until a certain agar but all babies are different and progress on their own time so don’t worry about that as long as he’s hitting milestones he should be fine

Girlllll I’m not sure my babe quite knows his name either and he just turned eight months lol. Milestones can be helpful but don’t invest too much in them! Some babies are early to do everything, others are late to everything and others fall in-between. If this is all you’re noticing in your babe, it’s very likely your LO is just fine mama :) Don’t hesitate to bring it up with your pediatrician though for added peace of mind.

Mine was not either but I started increasing mirror time, having her look in a mirror and pointing at her and saying her name & saying her name in songs
