Confused

Im 3 months pp and EBF. I haven’t got a period yet, however I’m getting a period type of pain sometimes? As if my period is coming but then nothing?? Is anyone having this or know why this is happening?

I had these cramps too and my health visitor said that this can mean that your uterus is still contracting due to breastfeeding.

wow that’s crazy 🫣 I thought by now it wouldn’t contract anymore as it’s likely to be back to it’s normal size

thing is it ain’t only cramps, sometimes it’s pain (sore) like when I was on my period

I’m not sure how long it takes but HV did confirm that breastfeeding makes your uterus contract. If you are worried I would suggest contacting your GP or health visitor, better be safe than sorry x

I combi feed, and I had my first 15 weeks pp, but haven't had another since, and I'm 5½month pp now xxx

I had the same, I kept expecting it to start, I'd experience bloating and period cramps and then nothing would happen. I finally came on my period yesterday at nearly 5 months pp. I was ebf then started combi feeding, slowly moved mainly to formula a week ago and now my period has finally started back up.

Small head reported following 20 week scan

Has anyone else had it flagged that their baby is in the bottom 5th percentile for head size?

They said everything was fine whilst we were in the scan and then I got a phone call the next day saying that it’s on the small side and we’re being referred to a paediatric specialist at St George’s. Has anyone else had this and how did things go??

Would you bring 9 week old to a family party of 35+ people?

These are also people who will want to pass the baby around and get a turn to hold him. He just got his 2 month shots two days ago

Exercise 6 weeks after c section

What movement did people start to introduce? I won’t do anything too vigorous until I’ve seen the pelvic physio as I don’t want to compromise anything that may have been extremely weakened through pregnancy! But just wondering what types of classes/movement people started off with?

Is this normal??

I’m 29 weeks pregnant and having really aching legs and they’re all lumpy and swollen. Above the knee and behind the knee . Should I be worried ? My legs have never looked like this up until a few days ago. ??
