You *can* but you might not like it, as it might irritate your scar. For the first 4 weeks or so I was in slouchy / loose trousers or leggings. Then I put jeans on to go out but after about an hour or so would be desperate to get out of them again. Probably felt comfortable in them again about 8 weeks or so.

I’m 4 weeks so I’m probably gunna wait to 8 weeks , my C-section still hurts x

It's best to wait a while as it can irritate the wound or even infect it. Baggy lose jeans that aren't too tight would be ok

oh okay I’m just wearing joggers atm I’m just waiting for it to heal properly x

You can but you may not want to , the waist may rub and irritate the incision site unless they are maternity jeans which have the soft hand around the tummy

I found my maternity jeans were atrocious post c section as the hard bit is exactly where the scar is, whereas normal jeans cover a lot higher up. I had to buy a couple of pairs of cheap ish jeans in one size bigger than pre pregnancy. still wearing them now but could probably go to my old ones quite soon (4 months pp).

where did you get them from

what the post pregnancy ones? Just some basic ones from M&S.

Post pregnancy x

Do you think primark would do them in Cardiff x

yeah, they’re just normal jeans, for me one size bigger because I’m slightly bigger around tummy after c section. They’re not special post pregnancy jeans or anything, sorry if I explained that badly.

okay no worries I have a look online see if they are any that I like x
