I had an ultrasound done today and the tech told me the baby was 6lbs 9oz.. I was anticipating that’s what she would weigh when she’s born. All the results are going to be sent to my doctor but my appointment isn’t until Monday, but does that seem really big?

My baby at 36 weeks 4 days was measuring 6lbs 1oz, and that was the 31st percentile! Hope that helps a little

Mine was 6lbs 8oz at 34 weeks, and I’m 35 weeks now! Some babies are just big! American babies are actually just really small. I was 8lb 6oz and my sisters were 9 lbs 4oz and 9lbs 11oz at birth!

Ultrasounds can be very inaccurate when it comes to weight. I've been told this many times even by ultrasound techs and drs, but also they told me my son was gonna be around 7lbs at birth and he was 9lbs 4oz 😂 so don't worry too much about that!

When I gave birth my son was 6lb 15 oz

Mine was 6lbs3oz last week at my 33w ultrasound 😬 that's big.
That weight at 36w seems par 👌

This is what I’m expecting my little boy to be around today, got my 36 week scan this afternoon kinda excited although I know they aren’t accurate it’s still nice to go off something lol

Babies at birth can be anywhere from 6-10 lbs and ultrasounds can be off by two lbs so I think you are pretty normal

My baby measured 5.5lbs at his 33 week ultrasound this week.

I would love for that to be my baby’s weight at 36 weeks. But my baby is bigger 😞
