Today i asked my bd what happened with his taxes. He claimed her and we discussed he would give me money. I haven’t heard anything about it so i asked about his taxes. He said i used it to get my car out, im like how much you get he told me and i said oh wow. And left it at that. But to just use that money knowing I’m not working right now and just started nursing school is insane. Like that’s selfish to me

how is he able to claim her legally ?? just curious? like does he have her info? are you guys 50/50? is he on the bc? i’m a asking so i can avoid this in the future. thank you

I would let it go, but wouldn't let him claim the child again especially if you're entitled to claim them.

@Areanna yes. He’s actively in our everyday lives so like i said we discussed him claiming her and him giving me $ out of it.. but never decided to say anything about using it for something else if i hadn’t asked he wouldn’t have told.

I’d say he still owes you that money, like he borrowed it from you to do something else but that doesn’t mean he just gets to keep it?

Had almost* the exact situation except.. since it didn’t go thru into my bank(I needed to verify with my bank) they sent it in a check so my husband deposited into his bank instead of letting me try.. so he put it in his(which we do share the account). He wrote me a check but I knew it wasn’t going to go thru. Especially probably because we already share the account lol. My name on one account and my name again on another😂 so my taxes he supposed to give me is stuck in his account(again, it’s shared) so.. he also bought a car where we will all fit our little family. I just didn’t bring up the taxes because he already deposited into his account and nothing I can do about it. We can’t return the taxes and make the irs make another check so I can put it into my account. So it’s sucks
