Trying to decide on a nappy bin for the nursery. I’d like one that is the most economical as I don’t really want to commit to having to buy expensive refills every month. Any recommendations?

i’ve heard a lot of people saying there’s absolutely no point in these as they tend to fill up fast and you usually end up putting them straight into a normal bin

We use a nappy bin with a bin bag inside and don't use the refills.

The lids do keep the smell mostly contained.

I have the Tommee Tippee and wouldn't use anything else. I tried cheaper, off brand refills for it and they did not contain the smell. I have dogs though, so completely hiding the smell is important for me.

We bought a Tommie tippee one. After friends raved about it

I used tommee tippee. Put some zoflora on some kitchen roll and put in bottom to help with smell :)

I just use a normal pedal bin as it's handsfree and empty it every few days, I just change her where we are though so only have night time nappies upstairs.we have a dedicated bin for nappies downstairs with the purple council bag in which goes out once a week.

I use a tommie tippee nappy bin for poops and just normal bin for wees as it does fill up very quickly when putting both in there. The nappy bin also seals the smell.
