Bleeding postpartum

I’m 3 weeks 4 days postpartum and I’m still bleeding slightly? im wearing thin day pads and when I take it off I can see a dark colour on the other side of the pad but I can’t see anything on the front of the pad where my bits would sit on? is it normal to still have bleeding now? Sometimes having like pieces of tissue or bloody pieces of skin in my urine as well ?

Hi! Im 5 weeks postpartum and only stopped bleeding couple of days ago. I’ve read that bleeding could take up to 12 weeks. Of course it depends how heavy it is or if there are any clots, then definitely need to contact a doctor, but in general its quite normal to spot for quite some time.

5 weeks here and still have a very slight bit of bleeding but I’m down to a very thin liner in the day now and still wear a thin maternity pad at night for peace of mind… I have a horrible feeling as soon as it stops I’ll end up getting my period back 😂 it would be just my luck!

I'm 3 weeks 3 days post and exactly the same. More a red tinged discharge than proper bleeding now but yeh seen these tissue y red pieces when I wee too. Don't remember it from last 2 births but if u and I both have it guess not too abnormal!? Xxx

yes excalty the same I was thinking maybe it’s the scab from the placenta wall coming away that’s why there’s floating pieces but I’m not too sure hopefully it stops soon xx

Thanks all I hope it stops soon just wanted piece of mine xx

I'm 3 weeks and 3 days postpartum and still have slight bleeding, too. I understand it's normal to last a few weeks. I haven't noticed the pieces of tissue you mentioned, though.

Scan needed at 33 weeks

Hi ladies! I just had a midwife appointment (I am 33+5)..the midwife was different to my usual midwife. She's requested I have a scan within 72 hours as she said baby is measuring a little small, however, she did say that it's likely nothing to worry about and it's probably just her measuring me a bit different to my usual midwife. Has anyone else had this? Am a bit worried although babys heartbeat and movements are completely fine.

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲

Induction?

Anyone been induced before? Was it more painful? Better than thought? Worse than thought? Worth it? Thoughts?

Baby names

My daughter‘s name is valentýna and I’m struggling to find other nice girl and boy names beginning with V I’ve got a few and I’ve got loads that aren’t beginning with V, but I feel like I wanna go for all vs and I also love girl and boys names that match so because my daughter’s name is valentýna I would love to call my son Valentino my husband does not agree 😃
