Birthday

Hi, so I would not send my little one to Nursery on his birthday, I'll always try and get it off work If I'm working. However what do we feel about keeping them off your birthday. I'm struggling with guilt and the fact we've paid for the session and him missing out on Nursery. All il be doing on my birthday is a very slow walk about an outlet as we've just had his baby sister a week ago. What do we think? Should I keep him off or give him a short day like pick up him just after his nap time? Thanks 😊

If he enjoys nursery let him go to nursery you can enjoy your day out and not have to worry about him getting bored or restless. Have a nice evening together get a cake so he still feels included in your birthday celebration they still have little understanding on our birthdays at the moment. Xx

It was my birthday earlier this month. I sent him to nursery because he likes going. I took the day off work and did some skin care, put a foot mask on and binge watched Netflix lol. When I picked him up we had dinner then put party hats on and music 😂. He had a great time.

Have a day of relaxing and celebrate with him after his fun nursery day. Happy birthday when it comes xx

Day out after c section

Hey,
I had an emergency c section 1 week ago I obviously don't want a day out right now but I have things booked for the Easter holidays so in 2 weeks. I was just wondering if I will be overdoing it if I have a day out then or will I be ok? I would still take it as easy as I could. When did everyone feel good enough to go out?

Period like cramps

Hi
I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and I keep getting period like cramps I thought these were Brixton hicks but I’ve heard they only last 30 seconds ish as this can go on for a good time frame then go away and come back, they aren’t bad enough where I can’t do basic things they just feel like I’m about to get my period I’m jus wondering how normal this is? Baby is still very actively kicking xx

C section or natural?

I am a control freak and thinking c section is the least stressful route for me and baby… less complications during labour etc. whilst acknowledging recovering can be hard.
If it could be guaranteed no tearing or complications then I would opt for natural and kind of want to experience the feeling.
Then again could plan and go either way 😂 arghh!
Anyone else in this predicament?

Midwife check

Can someone remind me when the midwife visits you at home? Is it the day after you’re discharged? And is that the same on the weekend or do they not visit then? Thanks!

Anyone else’s owlet pi##ing them off ?!?! It goes off 5/6 a night saying it can’t get a reading and needs a snug fit. My baby is 8 months old so moves a lot. It is driving me insane and I keep end up taking it off!!
