Anyone using a slow cooker to make baby food?

My velcro baby is going through massive separation anxiety right now, so cooking is not really possible. Has anyone got any slow cooker tips or recipes for babies? I figured I can just chop stuff up in the morning quickly when the separation anxiety is at its lowest and it will be ready for his dinner time

Hey I’ve been doing this, I don’t know if your meant to but I’ve just done like beef stew, and chicken casserole etc using the shwartz sachets and then just mashed it up for my boy for dinner x

Yes! Anything and everything that works in a slow cooker minus salt. My favourites are slow cooked coq au vin (minus wine is good too), or beef burginion. We also did a brisket then used the stock afterwards with lentils. Slow cooked meats are amazing for BLW too.

Yes, they’re so handy! We do bolognaise, stews, Indian curries, Thai curries and ratatouille in there. Can blend it a bit if you want a smoother consistency x

Thank you so much I hadn't thought of that might give it a go.

Any slow cooker recommendations that I can buy 💛
