Membrane Sweep at 37 weeks and 4CM dilated

This morning I received my first membrane sweep at 37 weeks pregnant. My midwife also said that I was 4 cm dilated. I am so nervous and only been cramping but no bleeding. I pray baby girl comes between the 48 hours!! Anyone else got theirs done yet? If so, how did it work out for you? Share your stories please.

How was the membrane sweep? Did it hurt?

Hi! I got my membrane sweep yesterday morning. I’m 39 weeks and today I lost the mucus plug and got some contractions in the afternoon but they went away. Hopefully it will work soon so I don’t get induce by 40 weeks 😫

I don’t think it’s super painful but for sure it’s uncomfortable. It’s very quick though

It felt like an uncomfortable cervical check. Luckily my significant other was there to hold my hand because my midwife was acting like she was digging for gold 😭 I think it helped that I was 4 cm dilated.

were your contractions in your uterus area? I’ve been having them off and on. Idk if I lost my mucus plug though .

No, I was actually shocked that I was dilating! I was just doing house stuff and preparing for baby.

I guess being active but majority of the time I was in the bed. I’m not sure what I did.

Small head reported following 20 week scan

Has anyone else had it flagged that their baby is in the bottom 5th percentile for head size?

They said everything was fine whilst we were in the scan and then I got a phone call the next day saying that it’s on the small side and we’re being referred to a paediatric specialist at St George’s. Has anyone else had this and how did things go??

Would you bring 9 week old to a family party of 35+ people?

These are also people who will want to pass the baby around and get a turn to hold him. He just got his 2 month shots two days ago

Exercise 6 weeks after c section

What movement did people start to introduce? I won’t do anything too vigorous until I’ve seen the pelvic physio as I don’t want to compromise anything that may have been extremely weakened through pregnancy! But just wondering what types of classes/movement people started off with?

Is this normal??

I’m 29 weeks pregnant and having really aching legs and they’re all lumpy and swollen. Above the knee and behind the knee . Should I be worried ? My legs have never looked like this up until a few days ago. ??
