Intercourse while pregnant

So I’m 12 weeks and 5 days today, I had to restrain from all sexual activity per my doctor since 5-6 weeks pregnant, due to having a subchorionic hematoma. My doctor just told me that the hematoma is all gone, but I’m nervous about intercourse. It took me and my fiancé over a year to conceive, this is our first baby and I don’t want to risk anything. I guess I’m just curious to know if most women still have regular intercourse while pregnant? Do you experience any spotting/cramping after? I’m just nervous about it.

12 weeks and 4 days here. Intercourse has caused some slight pelvic pressure afterwards that went away after an hour or so. I would say its happened like 3 times. No bleeding or spotting whatsoever.

Me and my bf have it often. I only spotted very briefly after in the early weeks but now it’s fine, sometimes my uterus will feel a little sore but it’s never cramping and doesn’t last long. My last pregnancy we couldn’t do it the whole time because it hurt so bad so we’re taking advantage this time lol

I would love to have more sex.
I'm alone, and even just not being allowed to pleasure myself for two weeks while trying to relax and stay calm and enjoy my life and body... Was hard enough.
I haven't had any complications so I can't comment on your situational reasons for concern, but if your doctor has given you the OK then it should be good!
Enjoy your body and enjoy your partner! Unless he's huge and can't help but pound you.... Lol. Ugh I wish.

I say no. I had a large SCH that we thought went away at 12 weeks (had a scan at my OBs clinic). I held off for 2 more weeks and at 14, things still looked clear. The second we had sex after getting a clear from my doctor, my bleeding started again and this time much much worse. I’m talking daily gushes that saturated multiple pads in a manner of 30 minutes for 2.5 weeks. I even passed out after a particular heavy gush. Ended up becoming severely and dangerously anemic, had to have a blood transfusion and hours later my placenta abrupted and I lost my baby (at 17 weeks).

I will always wonder if we had held off on pelvic rest if I would have my daughter here today (her due date was last Wednesday). I personally wouldn’t mess around if I had another SCH pregnancy.

Day out after c section

Hey,
I had an emergency c section 1 week ago I obviously don't want a day out right now but I have things booked for the Easter holidays so in 2 weeks. I was just wondering if I will be overdoing it if I have a day out then or will I be ok? I would still take it as easy as I could. When did everyone feel good enough to go out?

Period like cramps

Hi
I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and I keep getting period like cramps I thought these were Brixton hicks but I’ve heard they only last 30 seconds ish as this can go on for a good time frame then go away and come back, they aren’t bad enough where I can’t do basic things they just feel like I’m about to get my period I’m jus wondering how normal this is? Baby is still very actively kicking xx

C section or natural?

I am a control freak and thinking c section is the least stressful route for me and baby… less complications during labour etc. whilst acknowledging recovering can be hard.
If it could be guaranteed no tearing or complications then I would opt for natural and kind of want to experience the feeling.
Then again could plan and go either way 😂 arghh!
Anyone else in this predicament?

Midwife check

Can someone remind me when the midwife visits you at home? Is it the day after you’re discharged? And is that the same on the weekend or do they not visit then? Thanks!

Owlet

Anyone else’s owlet pi##ing them off ?!?! It goes off 5/6 a night saying it can’t get a reading and needs a snug fit. My baby is 8 months old so moves a lot. It is driving me insane and I keep end up taking it off!!
