Stomach measuring big at 36 weeks

I had my 36 weeks growth scan yesterday and everything appeared within normal limits with all the measurements… all except the diameters and size of my baby abdomen. Apparently she was measuring big in the stomach putting it in the 90th percentile. Her head, thigh bones and length were all normal but being that her stomach was so chunky so her overall percentile is 60. She’s currently 6lb 5oz at 36 weeks gestation. I asked my OB why is her stomach so big? And he said he wasn’t concern… but that’s concerning TO ME. Like what if it’s an obstruction or some sort or something else. But because everything else appeared so normal, they didn’t look into it. I’m gonna see if I can request another ultrasound bc I’m not ok, and k don’t want her to have any complication when she’s born 😭😭 anyone have insight on this? Because I’m not ok, and I gotta wait till Monday for my next appointment.

They said my baby abdominal area was a little bigger then it should be but like you said it's nothing they seem to worry about and really I'm not too stressed because he is on a good track and if it was abnormal I trust my doctor to seen it before.

@Mera Love Idk I think male docs are very caring compared to female docs . Alot of women docs have opinions being they are women and think they know .

I had a growth scan today at 36w3d and my babies belly is measuring over 99% and her guestimated weight is 8.3lbs already. My doctor didn’t mention any concerns about her size beyond a possible induction at 39 weeks if I wanted. I’ve been worrying a bit too but reading other mamas experiences with this has helped me take some deeep breaths. Hopefully you’re feeling more confident now.

Ultrasound Scan and BMI

Hi everyone, really upset today. Went for my dating scan and as far as I knew from the sonographer it was difficult to get a good pic of baby today because baby didn't want to get in a good position. Read my notes afterwards and it says difficult scan due to increased BMI. I have a BMI of 39 which I'm aware is high, but I feel so sad about it and now I'm worrying how this is going to be throughout the pregnancy. Any positive info about any of you lovely people having a healthy and safe birth with a high BMI would be really appreciated right now ♥️

Dampness at 31weeks

Has anyone experienced dampness amd wet patches in underwear? Has it been your water’s slowly going or fluids leaking? If it was how long before they completely went ect?

I did think it was discharge at first. But it has no texture or odour.. just a wet patch like if you pour water 💦
