My little one has started to roll on his side sometimes. We currently swaddle him with a muslin blanket, but he wiggles his arms out. Should I buy a transition swaddle, or go straight to a sleep sack?
Without the swaddle, he sleeps only for an hour and a half at most…

We found the transition swaddled useful because our son loved being swaddled and did not like or sleep well with arms out. We bought a transition swaddled where the arm holes were attached for arms in or could be removed for arms out and we had a halo sleep sack with sleeves so he was arms out but not as free range of movement as a normal sleep sack. We used the transition for about 2 weeks following one arm out at a time as recommended and then moved to the sleeve sleep sack for a few months.
If he’s sleeping better before he breaks arms out I’d go transition if he sleeps okay with arms out already I’d skip it

We followed the picture advice as well but I think we did one arm for a week , next week switched which arm was out , then following week had both out.
