As of recently we have been going through a sleep regression. So bad I’ve let her sleep in my bed for at least a couple hours a night. Tonight however no matter where we lay. My bed, her bassinet, her cuddled up with me or her spread out by herself she refuses to go back to sleep. She naps 1000x better than she sleeps. I work at a hospital I cannot stay up all night long and work all day just to come home and do it again. My husband is zero help since he’s working overnights and isn’t home.
Is this normal!?? Am I the only one?!??

Following as a momma that’s struggling to!!

Mine is going through that as well. Maybe try feeding to go back to sleep? Mine is so hungry at night lately and it’s so annoying. He barely eats during the day, but wants to BF forever at night and often after just an hour. But lately even feeding sometimes isn’t enough to get him to go back to sleep. 🤦🏻♀️ after a change and a feed and a rock in his crib, if he still won’t sleep, I let him cry for a while. Sometimes he’ll fall back asleep on his own. If not, I try taking him in my bed or feeding again.

I found that I was letting my baby sleep too long during the day and she wasn't awake long enough during the days. Look into split nights and the balance between their circadian rhythm and what they sometimes call "sleep pressure". If you're baby is sleeping really well during the day (as in naps that are consistently 2hrs or more) then they won't be tired at night. Once I started adjusting her wake window to 2 hrs and then making sure she didn't sleep longer than 2 hrs, she slept substantially better. She also sleeps better after having a "snack". (She eats for like 5 minutes). You may need to try new things as well. Shhh noises (yorube has like hours long videos), white noise, brown noise, fan noises, ect. Mine needs a fan and a shhh noise.
