I use Burt’s bees baby shampoo and wash. Occasionally use aquaphor too, just prefer the scent of Burt’s bees

I use avenoo as shampoo and cream

I use auqaphor baby wash or shea moisture but now that’s she’s a little older I switched her to kids shampoo and conditioner instead of using the wash as shampoo

We use all Tubby Todd products.

aveeno is owned by the same company that owns Johnson.

I'm sorry, what's wrong with J&J?

We use all Pipette products. We also use the Frida baby Cradle Cap mask as needed (which works wonders btw)

we just choose not to use them.they have had problem in past. But we are just wanting something else.

Aquaphor is so gentle on baby’s skin. We also like Aveeno.

Baby dove products are really good too.

Mustela has worked great for us. Or if you need really really gentle goat milk soap is amazing.

We use aveeno

Aveeno and Child Farm

Aveeno, I never got any rashes or breakouts out. Made her skin super soft

Avatar

We use aveno baby I believe and it works well. Mild smell too which I like

We use both Mustela oil body wash and shampoo, and Weleda. My LG has wavy hair so we are using an Aveeno conditioner.
I understand about your unwillingness to use products owned by J&J but that's such a huge company, they own half of the planet 😢😨 I avoid products such as baby Johnson, or Child's Farm, as they are full of sh*t, and in general always check the INCI to be sure there's nothing harsh inside. I use CeraVe for myself. Also Ceraphil should be good, but I've never tried it

Avatar

We use Babo Botanicals. Stay away from Aveeno, J&J owns them as well.

I've used aquaphor, Eucerin and Shea Moisture. I think either aquaphor or Eucerin are great they do not have soap and are good for eczema also they are fragrance free (babies are supposed to not use any scents), but if you will use it avoid Lavender specifically for baby girls cause it's an estrogen precursor. Mustela is a great brand also but I haven't used their body washes and Honest but I'll avoid Lavender scent.

@Ash lavender soap is what gave my daughter a UTI as a new born. That was a good point! I didn't think about that when I commented. We've used the eucerin baby stuff since then and her skin has been amazing!

Avatar

It sounds like you want to take more of a natural approach. Try Weleda or Burts Bees. I have tried Weleda and personally absolutely love it! I haven’t tried Burts Bees but it is supposed to be all natural and great.

Avatar

Oh, I'm sorry

Avatar

I know aveeno is owned by j&j but we used a one time j&j shampoo and it burned his eyes aveeno has never done that. So we stick with it.

Avatar

I use the baby dove sensitive it’s unscented and has been great and gentle for my baby

Nala

We use baby cetaphil, it smells amazing and is gentle on my daughter’s skin.

We use Burt’s bees! When my older son started to lap swim at 4 we started to use a different shampoo that helps with the chlorine. Otherwise, Burt’s bees all the way! https://amzn.to/3Wqc7Kx

Not drinking

I’m going crazy. Baby born at 2.26kg. Slow to put on weight. This last week hasn’t put on any. Been trying to feed him at night and he’s not interested at all. Fast asleep. During day he will have 5 minute gulps and that’s it. He don’t cry for milk. I’ve got to keep offering to him. I try to offer it every hour but I don’t know what I’m doing. HV said nutrition comes after 5 minutes so I should pump first and then give him. I find it so hard. I tried to pump one boob nothing came. The other abit came. Tried giving him express he’s not interested in that too. Sometimes he will go for a longer a feed but not long at all. He’s 4 months and is currently 5.46kg. I have no family or friend support here and wish I had a cook, cleaner and nanny to help with everything so I can concentrate on the little one. I don’t know what’s wrong with him but I’m loosing it. It doesn’t help that my also stressed generally about my relationship and life circumstances. Any advice that will work. Any comfort you can give. I’m fed up. Is this regression - not feeding. He’s fast fast asleep. I’ve been trying to push the nipple in but that mouth is closed shut. I took some clothes off. Changed his nappy but he’s still asleep. Please help

Leaky nappy help

What nappies are you using to stop leaks?? We use pampers ultra dry size 5, and for the past few nights he has lashed through and we’ve had to completely change him during the night. Last night he leashed through twice!! He sleeps on his front and stays leaks through at the top of his leg where the tabs connect. Didn’t know whether to size up, he has a bit of a belly on him but he’s smack in middle of weight guidance so shouldn’t need too

5.30am wakeups 😫😴

My 15 week old has started waking up about 5.30am and is really hard to settle back down - it’s like he thinks it’s time to wake up for the day. He used to go to bed at 9pm and was up at 8am but now he goes to bed between 7.30-8pm as he’s knackered by then but waking up at 5.30am😴. Any advice to get him to sleep a little longer in the morning?! Even an extra hour would be lovely 🤣

New born

Finally had my baby girl via C-section on the 18th, everything has been so far. But I’ve noticed she’s very fussy and cries a lot. I’ve been trying to exclusively breastfeed. The lactation consultant at the hospital said I did look like I’m making enough milk for her. She was latching on good at the hospital and now here at home, she doesn’t seem to want to latch at all. She’s been crying a lot and very fussy. I’m just wondering is she’s colic or like maybe she just doesn’t want the breast anymore?
