my little one has become sooo clingy at night all of a sudden and i’m trying to hold the expectation but it makes me feel like such a horrible person 😭😭😭 he wants me to lay in his teeny toddler bed w him but when i do all he wants to do is play. i love him to pieces but i am sooo burnt out. i give him as much affection as i can and i feel so horrible denying him of that but a mama has to rest too 😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫 any tips or kind words are appreciated 🫶🏼

Following! My daughter just started doing this as well! So exhausting 😵💫😩

We got her a full size bed so we could get her out of our bed when she rebelled against her crib just before turning 2. I've been sleeping with her in her bed ever since. 😭 Hang in there!

I feel for you so much. Do WHATEVER it takes to make this time easier for you both because at the end of the day, it’s just about getting through this without traumatizing both of you 😂💗 I say that playfully, I just mean however you can best give both of you what you need. There’s no rules or “right way” to do this, there’s no lesson you have to teach them, everyone just wants sleep and connection. I got so fed up with the struggle that now I “go to bed” with her every night. She sleeps in a queen bed so I can actually sleep, and now that I’ve accepted this is the way it is rn, it’s not so bad. It’s a compromise for sure but it’s better and more manageable for us than the way it was. Every night I go to bed with her, snuggle, she gets playful and I slowly, as patiently as I can for that particular day, wind her down and when she falls asleep I creep out and get time with hubs. When I’m tired I go back to sleep with her. It’s not forever, no stage is. Save your sanity however you can.

thank you so much 😌 this helps a lot

i suppose a big bed is better than a teensy toddler bed!! lol 😆
