Finding the time

As a stay at home momma to a one year old, I’m wondering when everyone finds the time to read? I LOVE reading and I currently have two books I started and some shadow journaling lol. But finding the time to actually read is so hard for me right now. I’m also six months pregnant so when my daughter sleeps I usually sleep or clean lol. Any advice on when to make the time? I just miss being able to grab my book and ice tea go outside and get on my dad’s hammock and read. Ugh. 😑 hahaha

The only way I have time to read is on the Kindle app on my phone while my kiddo is asleep. 😄

I have a gym with daycare so they days I don’t want to do anything I’ll read or I’ll read for 30 minutes before picking her up. I also read at Naptime or before I got to sleep. I’ve been reading in front of her lately while she plays independently. That doesn’t last long but I want her to see me doing something that’s not scrolling or cleaning/cooking.

Girl get the Libby app and listen to books! It’s the only way for me to get any reading in!!:)

I wait till my daughter goes down for bed or while she’s playing. Otherwise I’ll listen to audiobooks while cleaning and cooking.

Audiobooks are my go to! I listen anytime I’m in the car by myself or the kids or sleep or when doing chores around the house.

Audio books are the way to go! For me I use them when I clean and do laundry. Makes the awful tasks a little less daunting.

+1 to audiobooks! And you can borrow them for free on Libby as well

I read for about 10 minutes in bed at night as a way to unwind. It takes forever to finish a book but at least it’s something.

I read books on my phone from the Libby app.

I do a good chunk of my reading from my phone while I'm breastfeeding, or at night when kids are going to sleep.
