Yes it is. No more than 2 8oz I. A day no more than one 16oz a day and don’t drink a 24oz

I drink atom of caffine 😭😅 I drink about 240 mg of caffine a day and no issues with babygirl or my milk. Pediatrician told me energy drinks and caffine including caffine really arnt a big deal unless your child shows signs of being to awake or not sleeping etc. So be mindful of that but no I was told caffine and energy drinks would not effect my milk supply. You could see some symptoms in your child depending but my babygirl has not suffered any symptoms from my caffine or energy drink intake. Some babies can get fussy or not sleep well but normally caffine leaves the milk within 2 hours of drinking. So I tend to follow the alcohol rule ( 2 drinks wait 2 hours etc )

I was told caffeine can decrease your supply

in all honesty your supply is actually genetic. If you have a low supply to begin with anyways. If it gets lower it has nothing to do with caffeinated drinks but more so on how often you’re pumping.

@Tay I was not told this even my lactation consultant said it should not affect your supply. But it could be person to person so for my supply it didn't and doesn't harm it. I both pump and EBF I pump for storage and feed strictly EBF and have had 0 dip in supply

Okay! Im just repeating what I was told, not an expert by any means. Thanks though

I’d say it’s unhealthy for YOU. But shouldn’t affect your breastmilk much. I prefer coffee bc redbull does too much.

oh it’s def bad for me but I’ve been wanting since I got pregnant and been too scared to drink it
