Beware of Dr Kimberly Hawkins

I just want to warn all mommies in the Houston area of my former ObGyn. She is delivered my 1st little one 7 year ago and there were warning signs but I chalked it up to me being hormonal. My second pregnancy I told her I wanted a vbac/tolac and she told me if everything goes to plan. Then as I’m 37 wks and discussing my birthing plan with the NP who I saw all my pregnancy she informs me the Dr wants me to schedule a c section. I decline and schedule my next appointment. The Dr called about 3 hr later and we got into it cause she said she never said she would do a vbac. So we get into it and she terminates me as a patient. Due to all the stress, my water broke literally 30 hrs later.

your baby was breech or face up ? because my baby was down wards but face up, the way my placenta was placed and how far along I was they couldn’t tell thru ultrasound but once I went into labor my dr seen it and she honestly stuck her hand in there and turned her around 😬 so sometimes they can’t tell but everyone’s situation is different

Day out after c section

Hey,
I had an emergency c section 1 week ago I obviously don't want a day out right now but I have things booked for the Easter holidays so in 2 weeks. I was just wondering if I will be overdoing it if I have a day out then or will I be ok? I would still take it as easy as I could. When did everyone feel good enough to go out?

Period like cramps

Hi
I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and I keep getting period like cramps I thought these were Brixton hicks but I’ve heard they only last 30 seconds ish as this can go on for a good time frame then go away and come back, they aren’t bad enough where I can’t do basic things they just feel like I’m about to get my period I’m jus wondering how normal this is? Baby is still very actively kicking xx

C section or natural?

I am a control freak and thinking c section is the least stressful route for me and baby… less complications during labour etc. whilst acknowledging recovering can be hard.
If it could be guaranteed no tearing or complications then I would opt for natural and kind of want to experience the feeling.
Then again could plan and go either way 😂 arghh!
Anyone else in this predicament?

Midwife check

Can someone remind me when the midwife visits you at home? Is it the day after you’re discharged? And is that the same on the weekend or do they not visit then? Thanks!

Anyone else’s owlet pi##ing them off ?!?! It goes off 5/6 a night saying it can’t get a reading and needs a snug fit. My baby is 8 months old so moves a lot. It is driving me insane and I keep end up taking it off!!
