Can someone please help me understand this growth chart?

I don’t know if this is normal measurements or not. My midwife never explains or tells me.

Baby is measuring closer to the 90th percentile which means they may be a slightly bigger baby, but yes normal measurements and measuring fine as well for their height :)

My baby is the same!! Xx

As Frayere has said! Baby is measuring within normal range appears to be following a good consistent trend in growth. I'd imagine that if your buba plots above the 90th centile they will send you for a growth scan (but see that as a great opportunity to see your baby again) ❤️ xx

50th percentile is average and its showing baby is consistently above average you shouldn’t worry unless theres a sudden drastic change

If ur little x is in-between the 2 darker lines then baby is within the normal range of size the light gray line in-between the 2 dark lines is the standard average for baby size by the looks of it ur baby is slightly on the bigger side but that's not a bad thing at all and I will say it's not always accurate so don't worry to much about the size really the midwife or consultant should tell you if ur baby is too small or too big witch to be to big or small the little x would need to be outside the lines if the x is in-between the dark lines and the light lines on the outside then they may want to monitor you more closely incase of going out of the lines hope this helps to understand oh and above the light gray line in the middle is on the bigger side and below the line is on the smaller side lol but please don't worry ur self they can be un accurate quite a lot of the time x

Thank you everyone for clearing that up for me xx

I also think it’s if they generally grow steadily ina. Line like your little one is That’s what they look for But jumps or dips in growth from usual pattern would be an additional check I think

My son is measuring in the 79th percentile.
