So my little girl is nearly 3 months old and has been in the intant car seat that came with my buggy and also a recaro infant car seat and she decided she hated them both, I have quite a small car and my partners is 2 door so we use mine most.
If anyone is on the lookout for a non bulky swivel base car seat this one is brilliant, it’s got built in isofix so no big bulky base and it’s so much comfier for her

Sorry but this carseat is minimally tested and not safe at all. It unlikely will go up to 12 years.

Birth to 12 years car seats arnt safe unfortunately. It’s better to my car seats as they grow so they fit properly

it’s undergone the same testing as most of the brands on the market

It is only tested to the old R44 which will be phased out in sepr 2024 as it is so low all carseats pass. It is tested to a 32mph frontal and 18mph rear impact tests and side impacts are not tested. If this is the puggle i-size safe max, it was recently recalled due to possible injuries.

it’s the miniuno twistiie but yeah it is tested to r129

I might have commented on the wrong post. Sorry. I was sure someone mentioned puggle somewhere. I am losing my plots 🤣🤣🤣. Anywho, the carseat might not last until 12 years though.

Just to say this seat needs to be installed with the top tether even in rear facing mode. It’s not safely installed if it’s not using it. You have to loosen every time to swivel the seat which does make the easiness of swivel to be rather useless.
It’s not a recommended brand either

I know, we’ve installed the tether, you don’t need to loosen it, the way it swivels means you don’t need to

it says you should loosen it to enable the swivel in the instructions.

It’s not ‘unsafe’ it’s just you can get a lot better seats for the same price. If you follow car seat safety uk on Facebook it’s really informative and suggests which seats are best for different size and ages based on safety testing and the level of support they provide for the baby to prevent chin to cheat etc. a car seat that fits a 12 year old can’t be supportive enough for a baby

oh really? we haven’t had to so I’m not too sure why it would say that

it’s extremely supportive for her, especially compared to the infant carriers she was in, this one has a really good newborn insert and she is supported perfectly

don’t have them in the UK, our seats are designed differently and they are not needed.
