@Sarah how much did you get it for when it was on sale out of interest? X
We have one for our LG and also the rapid cool for when out and about, she recognises both mean milk is on the way and shouts until she gets it either way 😂. They’re observant little beans so I’d definitely recommend, it’s much quicker than the rapid cool and you can also hold your LO when using it which tends to stop the shouts 😅 xx
@Genevieve I got it for £85 (down from £130) 😊 was on sale on Amazon and then I got an extra 15% off because it was on my baby wishlist
I have both. I use the prep machine when we are home - I found it a lot quicker when doing night feeds and just quicker in general then boiling the kettle and using the rapid cool each time. The rapid cool is perfect for when you’re out and about. I’d recommend both and will be using both for my second x
My LO hasn’t arrived yet but both of my sister-in-laws and their friends recommend it. I got one from marketplace that has barely been used.
I had it for my son, best thing ever. Hoping to breastfeed this time, bit if it doesn't work out will be getting the prep machine out.
I don’t have it and don’t plan on getting the prep machine as it doesn’t follow NHS guidelines. So it’s a no for me. The rapid cool however. I have 3, they’re amazinggggg x
NHS do not recommend prep machines so it’s a no from me
I got given one, but I had my eye on a baby brezza since I found out I was pregnant. I have both.
Can’t see why it wouldn’t comply to the NHS guidelines as The inbuilt filter system removes impurities in the water, whilst the initial blast of hot water kills any bacteria present in the milk, ensuring baby receives a fresh feed every time? If you have the guidance to hand would love to see! @Karen @Lauren
I spoke to my midwife and HV for my last pregnancy. They both said the above. I just wouldn’t personally risk it. Of course not everyone follows NHS guidelines and that’s up to them. But for me, it’s a no. But obviously on the website for tommee tippee, they’re gonna say it’s safe etc. because they want the sales
Ah thanks for sharing that! It’s a shame the article below doesn’t say what 15% of prep machines were ok and kills the bacteria! I’ll do some more research on it thanks :)
@Genevieve oh yeah obviously do some research. You’ll decide what’s best for you and your baby! X
Haha Yeah it’s weird already - NHS says 70 degrees to kill off bacteria and tommee tippee says that on the box and they can’t reference it if it doesn’t get up to temp otherwise someone would have called the brand out on it by now and probably sued them 🙊 I’m gonna risk it and buy a temp checker too, maybe you will see me on the news next year 😂

DONT THINK ABOUT IT, JUST DO IT. You won’t regret it
Used it for my first after we stopped breastfeeding. Really the best thing, never had any issues with it and have a happy and healthy 14 month old 😊
I haven’t personally used mine yet but every single person my age who has had a baby swears by this machine 😂😂 so much so that I bought one at 18 weeks when it was on sale!
