I like to travel and be outdoor, cos I’m all the time at home with my baby. We rarely go anywhere. I feel she and I needs to go more outside. It will be good for her development also. My husband things we should be home until baby gets older 2-3 years. Currently she’s 13 months. so he is always reluctant to take us out. Also whenever we have gone out on my insisting, my baby gets unwell, and my husband accuses me. This time again we did short tour, and my daughter got bad cough and is puking. It’s again cos of me. Am I a bad mom ??? I feel so guilty.

I think it’s really important that babies get out and about I know they catch more colds etc but it’s good to build their immune system when little my lo gets seriously bored in the house so we are out most days whether that’s a dog walk a baby class a stay and play a cafe she loves being out please don’t feel guilty

Catching cold is important for their immune system. I personally think dinner you start, better.
Take her out, park, baby group. Things will get easier. If he doesn't wanna go, his loss of amazing memories and fun
it’s so sweet that your husband takes you out after coming home. It’s easy when you have a partner who cares and understands and you’ve got a pair of extra hands to take care of things outdoor of the baby gets cranky..
my baby gets bored at home. She loves being outside I can tell. So I try take her out without him for short walks. But travel is off the list for now i think. ☹️ yesterday i swore to myself seeing my daughters health that I’m never gonna demand for trips until she’s old enough. But today when she seems better I’m again planning trips in my dream land . 😛

Me and my husband are doing the North Coast 500 camping with our little one this summer so you should absolutely be going out and about. It's amazing for your mental health and your baby. She will get ill everytime she goes out if she is frequently being shielded. I work full time and my husband is a stay at home dad and I wouldn't dream of accessing him or telling him he can't go out and about etc 🥰
exactly .. I wish husbands could experience the mothers side , being at home with baby/toddler, cooking, cleaning, all day, without any appreciation or break, they would end up in a psychiatric ward. 🙄
I can understand. I think the first two years post having a child are tough for a couple. I too feel love completely missing in our marriage. But I just count on my blessings and move on with the day. At the end we both love our daughter and she deserves the best. I’ve been raised by parents who always fought. They still do and it has impacted me and my brother. I don’t want to repeat the circle with my daughter.
.. lots of good vibes to you..
