My little one is still having 4-5 feeds a day. One on waking , one after first nap, one after second nap, one before bed and sometimes one in The night. He usually scoffs 3 meals a day but I wonder if now is the time to make a shift away from the milk and try more food. I dunno just seems like this is just maybe too many milk feeds???? I never know when he wants milk he never seems to show signs but I just offer it and seems to have a good feed! 🤷🏻♀️

My LO eats 3 large meals, 2 snacks and still bfs 6-8 times daily. She’ll be one tomorrow and I’m just following her lead. As long as baby is having plenty solids it’s not something I would worry about, they definitely feed for comfort as much as food at this stage 😊

You can replace the feeds with extra snacks if that’s what you would like to do. I dropped to 3 feeds at 10 months and now 2 as he just turned one. I give him 3 meals a day then a snack at 10 and a snack at 3, I found bringing dinner forward to 4:30 helped him get through to his evening feed. I was recommended this by the dietitian as bubba needed to take more solids in so just go with whatever you’re comfortable with as long as they are eating well x

We do morning, 10am nap, 3pm nap and before bed now. I’ve managed to ween night feeds day 4 now. When he starts nursery he will skip the 10 and 3 feed and will get a snack then instead. He sometimes skips those feeds now really. I’ll continue to feed him morning and night until he is ready to give them up
