Hey hey baby Noah is 10 months and is still breastfeeding but also is eating solids 2 to 3 times a day but when night comes he still feeds 3 to 4 times throughout the night . Is this normal lol I thought when eating solids the breastfeeding should be slowing down .

My baby also did it but at the 9-month appointment they told me that she doesn’t need it and so I decreased, when she woke up I only lulled her in my arms, as a last resort I breastfed her but now I stop it completely trough the night , sometimes she wakes up and I only hold her to go back to sleep

Is he doing it for comfort?

Mines the same she wakes so often in the night and won’t sleep without feeding

Following!

Yes that's super normal!

sadly no

I will have to try that . Thank you !!

I would make sure he's definitely getting 3 meals with plenty of calories, and maybe a snack before bed. Peanut butter, cottage cheese, eggs, avocado.

Same

If you like nursing whenever then you don't have to work to change it. Babies all wean themselves at some point. We all just have different opinions. There is no requirement to stop nursing at night at any point or to stop breastfeeding as a whole. There is always benefit.
But its also normal if you don't want it lol

My baby isn’t eating food only breastmilk still. At one point she was up 3/4 times a night but I offered her water instead of the boob when she woke up. Now she only wakes up once to feed which I don’t mind

I’ll have to try that one ! Thank you

I try and ensure my girl gets a decent amount of food with protein in it for supper(vegetarian)then give her 6oz pumped bottle or breast feed her if I’m home about a half hour before bedtime. She has been sleeping through the night since we started this.
We also put her in her own room which I think helped as I used to grab her at the first whimper so I wouldn’t wake us all up.
Hope that helps, I am enjoying the extra sleep and hope you will soon.

It's normal for babies to wake up a 1-2 times a night but not that many times. My baby has been doing the same thing so i started giving him a snack between lunch and dinner and pushed dinner back by an hour. that's helped a little bit, the last couple days i started giving him a snack between breakfast and lunch too which seems to be doing the trick. Last night he only woke up once to breastfeed which was great after months on waking up 3+ times.
