If it was safe in the bassinet, it is safe in the crib. With swaddles, once baby is showing signs of rolling, it is no longer safe to swaddle with arms in because they need to be able to use their arms to reposition once on their belly

she goes on her side to sleep and back to her back is it a normal newborn thing to do or is this sign of rolling she’s liked to sleep on her side since 1 weeks

The baby needs to sleep on her back unless your holding her really. It's the most safe thing. And once she starts rolling on her own from tummy to back or back to tummy then the swaddle should come off. Also no heavy blankets the best I found were the crocheted ones they have wholes and they are very light and they keep baby warm when you get to that stage.

And never above there chest for a light blanket and always under her arms.

Ah we put her on back but then she’ll roll to her side

@Emilia it's early, but side rolling means full rolling is coming. Time to start letting those arms be free and LOTS of rolling practice while awake

I got a sleep sack arms free coming today as well :) any tips as to how to do rolling practice ?
