My 2nd was born on 4/11, and we are currently entering Leap 1. I’ve noticed alot of people posting about their littles being fussy and sleeping poorly so I wanted to share this information incase it can help someone!
My 1st son is almost 3 years old and since he was born i’ve used this app called “the Wonder Weeks” to track his mental development/leaps. His final leap (Leap 10) just ended 2 weeks ago! This was so helpful understanding why my little is fussy when I know he’s not sick and gave me a good guide of what I could do to help him reach these milestones quickly.
The Leaps are based on your babies due date (not birthday). The app shows what signals they can display when they are about to start a leap that you can check off, as well as what your baby should/could be reaching during the Leap and activities you can do. I hope this helps someone here

Yeah the Wonder Weeks app has been accurate for my LOs first leap. But he ended up being 3 1/2 weeks early. So all the fussiness was mostly colic for him. His first leap didn’t start til week 7 1/2.

My baby was born 3 weeks early but I swear she’s going through Leap 1 because of all her behavior changes! I understand the logic of due date vs birthdate but has anyone else experienced this with their preemie ?

I had my first at 37 weeks and he started his 1st leap around 7 weeks , i started seeing signals around week 5ish
