Has anyone had issues with Vinted??

I sold an item posted it the same day and the buyer has definitely received it. It says delivered on Royal Mail Tracking. I’ve sent the buyer 2 messages only for her to completely ignore them and still not confirm all is ok. It’s annoying because my only option is Royal Mail so therefore money won’t be released until either she confirms item or I have to wait 1month until Vinted do it and apparently even after a month the buyer has two days to raise an issue

Also to add I don’t do Vinted for fun it’s literally because times are hard being on maternity leave

I thought if they didn't reply in two days, it does it automatically?

Mine has been released within a couple of days if they haven't released it never had to wait a month.

@Jennifer @Nikki Mines says June 18th it will be marked as delivered. I don’t know if it’s because I use Royal Mail. Xx

I've had issues before like this with Royal Mail, and then another with EVRI damaging the parcel in transit and then it taking over a month to refund the buyer and compensate me (because they allow such a long time for it to be delivered / collected with EVRI). So for me I switched to only deliver using InPost home or lockers - no problems since! People only have 3 days to collect parcel (nobody has not collected so far) and then Vinted always transfer the money to my balance 2 days after they've collected. I think a lot of people on Vinted are buyers only and don't realise that if they don't click the 'Everything is OK' button then the money isn't released (sometimes for an incredibly long time!). None of this solves your problem I'm afraid, but changing your postage options might save you some headaches in future - it's made it all a worry-free breeze for me since I changed it 🥰

I've sold the odd thing and have used evri and inpost. But I mostly use it for buying really. Just keep all your proof of postage just in case.

All postage options, except royal mail are intergrated with the app, so it knows when your parcel arrives. If buyers don't confirm within 3 days or something, it automatically releases the fund to seller. For royalmail, it isnt intergrated, so no tracking code (unless seller chooses the tracked option). Therefore, unless the buyer clicks on everything is ok, you will have to wait for a month to get your money. I would say turn royalmail off and choose other options.
