🫠 So we went out for a walk in the morning yesterday, baby fell asleep in the carrier for a few minutes (forward facing as well, we tried so hard to keep him awake until we got back to car!) he then went back to sleep 10 mins into car journey home and slept for just under an hour. He usually has 1 nap of about 2 hours but this was an early nap. Day was then fine but little one has been a bit out of sorts this weekend, I needed a break from the whinging, so we went out for a nice long walk (again) he pretty much blinked in the buggy at 5pm.
He was then super tired at 6:30pm, we did the usual routine and at 7:10 he was full of energy. He stayed up for a bit. And finally went to bed at 7:50 (very late for him!)
He woke at 9:30 for a cuddle, 12am for a bottle, and then making noise on and off from about 4:30 and we got up for the day at 5:30. Anyone else? Send help!

Generally speaking the earlier the morning nap the earlier they wake the following day. Mine does that too if she falls asleep too early, I found this to be so consistent!

🙃 noooo!! 😭 He was so tired from being up all night that he’s had another early nap at nursery, went to sleep at 9:30 for an hour, when he usually sleeps after lunch 🫠

Yes, sorry, it’s incredibly annoying, but we learned to just keep her awake in the morning at any cost. We’ve now become morning people against our will and visit a park with swings before 9am every single day no matter the weather 😅 obviously harder when they’re in nursery and you’re not in control, but maybe you can try more at weekends and then they get into that routine for Monday nursery session too?

We also had to get rid of the pram because it’s so easy for them to fall asleep. Now we leave on a trike, meaning it’s not as comfy but lower level so they’re more engaged with dogs passing by. It’s been over a week now that we haven’t used the pram at all now, helps with keeping her awake for the evening walks
