Is it just me or anybody else have to run to the bathroom after eating almost anything? I feel like I have IBS ever since my C section

It’ll go away , it’s your body trying to acclimate to your normal hormones , i’m 4 months pp and some days i still feel sick

I’m 8 days postpartum and I don’t have much of an appetite. Today was the first day I actually ate a meal and I’m already feeling an upset stomach.

Yes I can relate! I'm 4 months post C-section and I haven't had normal bowels since. I say normal I have Crohns disease anyway so they aren't normal but MY normal. I've had to either take laxatives very often or when I have an upset tummy, I can't get off the loo and the pain is very intense. I feel it's made my bowels worse. When I feed my LO for instance during the night, I lay back and she's resting on my tummy. I get this almighty feeling of sickness, deep pain that I need to run to the loo! I also get more pains inside now. I've also been sick a few times since and that isn't a normal thing for me. So I can totally relate. I have an IBD team so seeked advice so I'm going to speak to my GP perhaps to have some form of an examination or scan to double check everything. I worry for more damage inside. If you're having cramps, Buscopan is really good over the counter. It helps IBS symptoms. Take them each night as that's when tummy goes into work mode 🙏 but if it continues get checked to be on safe side x

Just throwing it out there I do know someone whose celiac was activated after her c section. First one in her family room so if it keeps up I would seek out your doctor

Over a year pp here, I've had a ton of normal bowel movements now. I used to be able to eat spicy food all the time and would never have an issue. Not being able to eat it as much is my only real issue and it's not an issue. I'm just pretty much 30 now 😂 remember this is a huge surgery and we aren't given enough time to heal. Yes, the skin is healed but underneath takes longer. If you feel you should visit the doctor then please do. It does get better though.

Yes! I'm 8 months post partum & I feel awful! It doesn't seem to matter what I eat or how much I eat😔 I had a decent meal yesterday & my tummy just grumbled from there onwards. Then this morning woke up feeling bloated, sick & have the runs. There's no rhyme or reason to it & its really knocking my confidence as I just constantly feel poorly! Intially I put it down to hormones & my periods but, since I've been back at work this month I am a lot more aware of it than what I was whilst I was on maternity leave. I've got a doctors appointment booked for Thursday & it can't come round quick enough.

how long did it take for your bowel movements to return to normal? I need some hope.

Leaky nappy help

What nappies are you using to stop leaks?? We use pampers ultra dry size 5, and for the past few nights he has lashed through and we’ve had to completely change him during the night. Last night he leashed through twice!! He sleeps on his front and stays leaks through at the top of his leg where the tabs connect. Didn’t know whether to size up, he has a bit of a belly on him but he’s smack in middle of weight guidance so shouldn’t need too

When do things get easier?

As we entered the 9-12 month stage, my son started crawling and pulling himself up. He also became more clingy and does not play alone, still doesnt sleep through the night, and this week has been sick (so EVERYTHING amplified). I am tired and overwhelmed. Please lie and tell me things get better. 🥺

4 month bed time

What time do you put your babies to bed?
What time do you start your 'routine?'
My LO currently goes to bed around 10.30pm, and I know i need to start bringing it forward. Everytime ive tried, it takes longer for my LO to settle.
We are exclusively breastfeeding. Any advice Mamas?

6 month old autistism

My 6 month old makes no eye contact with me and doesn’t respond when I call him. Can this just be a phase or personality trait as apposed to autism

5.30am wakeups 😫😴

My 15 week old has started waking up about 5.30am and is really hard to settle back down - it’s like he thinks it’s time to wake up for the day. He used to go to bed at 9pm and was up at 8am but now he goes to bed between 7.30-8pm as he’s knackered by then but waking up at 5.30am😴. Any advice to get him to sleep a little longer in the morning?! Even an extra hour would be lovely 🤣
