A question for the mums with small babies between 7 and 8 kg at 11months.
I'm starting to get stressed about feeding. What are your babies feed schedules?? Milk - when and how much and food - when and how much please.
I'm not sure if I'm doing the right thing trying to reduce milk with her being small because the HV advice is always generic and they say the same to everyone.

So my baby is 8.5kg now but I would say that’s only because I stopped trying to push milk onto her and let her enjoy her food more. In the last 2 months she’s gone from the 20th to 40th centile (she was born around the 30th centile). She’s been having 10-12oz milk across 2/3 bottles, 3 meals and 1 snack recently. She eats loads though and usually finishes everything I give her x

My daughter is around 8.4kg..
we’re still on 3/4 bottles a day depending on if she wakes for one.
Typically it’s 5am, 9/10am, 2pm and 7pm she has milk and equates to around 20-24oz a day. Some days if she sleeps through it’s bottles at 7,1 and 7.
Solids we do breakfast lunch & dinner but she is so finicky about food still, she doesn’t eat a huge amount most of the time.
I’m going to take her lead and keep up with the milk.
I’m going to switch the feeds to 50/50 formula & cowsmilk and slowly just make the change to cows milk, and hopefully as she gets older she will eat more, then I will drop a bottle accordingly. I’m just not listening to the HV as you said their advice is very broad and not baby specific. You know your child best and if you think she needs the extra calories from milk for now then you do that. x

Hi my baby isn’t even 7kg yet, he’s 6.577kg (14lb 8oz) he’s had his health visitor 12month check and they’re not worried at all, he’s in the lowest centile, both me and dad are short and very small so expected him to be small too!
When he wakes he has porridge made with cows milk then 6oz formula straight after
8oz Bottle after his first nap
Lunch an hour later
Snack before second nap
8oz after his second nap
Dinner an hour later
Then he breast feeds before bed and once or twice through the night
He’s a really good eater and loves his food just is a small boy

I wouldn't reduce milk until he decides he doesn't want it. Swap to cows milk obviously from a year and carry on till he doesn't want it x

Thank you all for the advice! And for sharing your schedules it has helped. Xx
