My boy is now too heavy for his bouncer and it has literally been my best friend since he’s been born. I put him in it when shower, clean up etc and I know he’s safe. Now he’s too heavy, what alternative can I use to do the same thing with? It’s been so handy and I need something that can be just the same.

Jumperoos are actually really bad for their hip development. I put my twins in a walker or their highchairs x
Fisher-Price Jumperoo as long as he can hold his head unassisted, the heights are adjustable too to grow along with baby
I would get a different bouncer, there are some that go up to 3 years of age.
Things like bumbo seats and jumperoos are not good for their development
@Ris-Childcare Navigator are there any you can think of/recommend?
@Annabelle this one goes up to 3 years/18kg https://www.therange.co.uk/baby-nursery-and-toddler/baby-playtime/baby-bouncers-and-swings/baby-bouncer-electric-infant-swing-seat-rocker?gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjw1emzBhB8EiwAHwZZxeQdAZGNcvBe7hpLqAsQWWBLcgdZ9SNu2jgh44aNseEvnQoRP44pXhoCWh4QAvD_BwE#7185044
What one do you have now? How heavy is your little one?
@Ris-Childcare Navigator thank you!! I have the baby bjorn bliss bouncer which only goes to 9kg which is exactly what he is atm
Is this it? It says 13kg. I would be surprised if it's only 9kg as that's a low weight limit. I have had big toddlers in them no issues https://www.mamasandpapas.com/products/babybjorn-bouncer-bliss-light-beige-6776wt000?utm_term=42728740552869&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjw1emzBhB8EiwAHwZZxfpkdK5PoaRoLjD6EqEg9wkRX_60HIN7sTPp86-l5I0B7O4j12R6eBoCcVQQAvD_BwE
@Ris-Childcare Navigator yeah that’s it. It said on the label, 9kg max for bouncer and then 13kg max for chair 🤷🏽♀️
@Annabelle oh I see. Is he trying to get out? If he is then turn it into a chair. If not then continue as you are.
Basically what they are saying is they don't want you to strap a baby in who is trying to get out and could hurt themselves
@Ris-Childcare Navigator he’s not tbh, plus he can’t sit up unaided yet and would just flop out if I changed it. Thank you for your help
Sounds like you are fine to continue as you are then :) Your welcome!
