Bottle recall

it’s not brand specific. ALL plastic bottles do what the lawsuit says this brand does. if you’re concerned you should switch to glass which avent has 🙂

I want to switch to the glass bottles but I want to switch to a different company all together. I just have so many of the nipples that I was hoping I could keep using those on different bottles

@Kaitlyn what is your reasoning for wanting to switch if babe takes those? using any top with a bottle it’s not made for has a high risk of it coming apart and leaking so honestly if you’re dead set i’d try boon nursh. they’re silicone and have a similar nipple. another option would be NUK

@Lauren it’s not a recall it’s a class action lawsuit. Basically it’s claiming that heating up the bottles causes them to leak microplastics and that they failed to tell people that was a possibility. However, any plastic bottle (or plastic in general) will leak micro plastics when heated up. If you are concerned about it then you need to switch to glass bottles. Advent has a glass option and you can continue to use the nipples you have currently.
