Has anyone else had their 6-8 week check and baby's first jabs late? I was told the GP surgery would book me in for our 6-8 week check and send me the appointment through, but they didn't. Was also told to wait until I got a letter to book in for my LG's jabs (got a text yesterday from the health visitor team asking if I had booked in and to get it booked if not). Just booked them both in, and they are not until 10 weeks PP. Is this normal/OK? Don't want to be judged by the HV next week as my LG hasn't had her jabs on time :(
pic, just because i find this face she does hilarious and cute š

I booked mine in and she's still going to be 10 weeks by the time she gets them, as long as she has her jabs it's fine x

My son was 10weeks when he had his first jabs- I asked the nurses when she was doing it and itās fine. As along as they get all the jabs x

Thank you both!!š„°

The HV canāt judge you for something that wasnāt your fault

I had called up just in case and mines just had hers at 9 weeks my GP said itās fine as long as they have it between 8-10 weeks x

@Chleo I'm just so worried about the judgement from them, my house is under slow renovations and I know they don't like it so I don't want anything else for them to comment on š

Yes had to postpone as we were on holiday (long weekend at my mums) and then the last set he was ill so we had to push them back. You can only have Rotarix by 15 weeks (if you want it).

both the 6-8 week appt and his jabs are booked and heāll be nearly 10 weeks old when he has them, think they must be super busy :(

Really glad it's not just us and everything will be OK! Thank you all!ā¤ļø

My little one is only booked in at 10 weeks also xx

My lo is booked in for 11 weeks and I booked them when he was 5 weeks x
