Baby hates sitting still

Help😩 so this started a few weeks ago but it's just got worse and worse. First of all a few weeks ago my baby would start kicking off about after she'd been out in the pram about an hour. But now, she's absolutely booting off after about 20 minutes, she gets hysterical to the point she throws up everywhere, she also gets upset if we take her out in the baby carrier, or if she's sat in a shopping trolley. In the past couple months she's learnt to crawl and to pull herself to stand and cruise on furniture, which she is doing non stop at home she never stays still ever. I think she just wants the freedom of moving and when we're out she can't do that so she gets upset, only way to stop her being upset is to carry her but she's so heavy so neither of us can do it for too too long😩 has anyone else went through this? Is there anything to help fix this? I feel trapped in the house like I can't go anywhere because she'll just scream the whole time 😭

You could try a baby facing out pram see if that helps. Other than that lots of floor time before and after you go out xx

I was thinking of trying facing pram other way, but then a few days ago we went out for a walk with her in baby carrier facing out and she still kicked off after 25 minutes had to be carried all the way back home 😩 will give it a go see if she'll take to it 🤞🏻 xx

hope it works for you. If not just keep thinking everything is just a faze and try and take lots of breaks (I know not practical all the time) xx

My babys the same however not so quick but her pushchair is facing forwards and I take toys to keep her entertained etc! Have you tried giving her snacks in her pushchair?xx

toys used to keep her entertained in her pram but not anymore 😩 yeah I take snacks, she'll eat 1 maybe sometimes 2, and then won't take anymore and will start crying again 🫤 xx

Was literally about to ask something similar myself. It's a nightmare isn't it! All he wants to do is pull himself up, walk, get down, crawl, and then start again. He won't even sit down in the bath! Nappy changes, walks, car journeys, outfit changes, doing absolutely anything is impossible, because I'm constantly sat on floor ready to catch him if he falls or move him away from something ( he hates me doing that too 😂) xx

omg yes, honestly can't keep up with her, don't even get me started on bath times and nappy changes don't know how I actually managed to change her nappy half the time😩😩 see if I move my little girl away from something she doesn't get upset she starts giggling because she sees it as a game, and then will constantly go up to it so i have pull her away again and again and again, its her favourite game rn😂xx

I thought pull ups would be the magical solution but soon as I want him to stand, nope he wants to sit down or crawl off 😂 ahh, if I say no and shake my head he laughs, and carries on... If I pick him up and move him, he screams... And then just goes straight back... So it's either a fun game he keeps wanting to play....or he's not happy I've moved him and goes back to show me he's boss 🤦‍♀️😂 xx

Update: had the pram facing forward last two days and she absolutely loves it, no kick offs and has been kicking her legs in excitement while out in it. I love she's happy now but I don't like her facing other way, feels too grown up I wanna stare at her while I walk 😭

Leaky nappy help

What nappies are you using to stop leaks?? We use pampers ultra dry size 5, and for the past few nights he has lashed through and we’ve had to completely change him during the night. Last night he leashed through twice!! He sleeps on his front and stays leaks through at the top of his leg where the tabs connect. Didn’t know whether to size up, he has a bit of a belly on him but he’s smack in middle of weight guidance so shouldn’t need too

He use to sleep through the night now he is waking up every single night in the early morning, I've had to transition him to a toodler bed as he kept climbing out his cot. Just need some advice on what I can do to help him get back in to a sleep pattern?

When do things get easier?

As we entered the 9-12 month stage, my son started crawling and pulling himself up. He also became more clingy and does not play alone, still doesnt sleep through the night, and this week has been sick (so EVERYTHING amplified). I am tired and overwhelmed. Please lie and tell me things get better. 🥺

4 month bed time

What time do you put your babies to bed?
What time do you start your 'routine?'
My LO currently goes to bed around 10.30pm, and I know i need to start bringing it forward. Everytime ive tried, it takes longer for my LO to settle.
We are exclusively breastfeeding. Any advice Mamas?

6 month old autistism

My 6 month old makes no eye contact with me and doesn’t respond when I call him. Can this just be a phase or personality trait as apposed to autism

5.30am wakeups 😫😴

My 15 week old has started waking up about 5.30am and is really hard to settle back down - it’s like he thinks it’s time to wake up for the day. He used to go to bed at 9pm and was up at 8am but now he goes to bed between 7.30-8pm as he’s knackered by then but waking up at 5.30am😴. Any advice to get him to sleep a little longer in the morning?! Even an extra hour would be lovely 🤣
