Does your doctor usually tell you if something is wrong with pregnancy before anatomy scan or they are usually waiting for anatomy scan to check all in details? My doctor usually doesn’t say anything during ultrasounds, he just hears heartbeat and measure 🤷🏼♀️

the ultrasound techs are usually not your actual ob/doctor. and they are not allowed to tell you anything. they have to let the doctor look it over and tell you.
My doctor is doing my ultrasounds.
thank you! I have anatomy scan on Friday, but I can’t help but think about it all the time 😣

I recommend asking your doctor after every visit, how your baby is doing and progressing. I’m sure that doctors are in a rhythm and unless there is something unusual they will let you know. Personally, I prefer the confirmation that all is good.
Mine didn’t tell me about my blood work results, ultrasounds, or weight until I asked about each one.
She even said, if there is something wrong I’ll tell you. But I ask either way.
And after exams she said, if I call you then it means we found something unusual. If I don’t call, nothing to worry about. I hope she never calls and I talk to her during my next visit.
