My daughter was 1 in April and has always loooved her food. We feed her healthy meals (as do nursery) and she usually has 2 snacks per day, plus milk 2 times a day. However her appetite sometimes is insatiable - we are on holiday at the mo and she seems to just want to eat constantly throughout the day. I weighed her recently and she’s 12kg, which means she’s on the 97th centile. She is quite chunky but it’s never bothered me as I’m sure she will lose it now she is walking and is basically on the go 24/7… but my question is, should I be monitoring what she eats in any way to make sure she doesn’t go over the 100th centile?!

I’d say no there supposed to not be able to over eat. If she’s eating it she might need it. There growing so much atm .. I’m sure it will calm down in time or maybe she will always be a big eater and have a fast metabolism

No you can’t, my little girl will refuse food when she’s full! She could be going through a growth spurt too x

I was thinking of the same thing as my daughter eats all day if she sees food. So I decided to put away every kind of food from her sight because she eats so much.
