Keeping baby upright after a feed for reflux

I need to keep baby girl upright for 20-30 mins after a feed. What are some good positions? My arms are killing me but propping her up on her back against her knees doesn't seem to help / stop the spit up

I lean back propped up on pillows and have baby belly to belly with me on my chest with his head up by my neck. Once he stops wriggling he just lies theres and is fairly upright but my arms are free to use my phone/drink my water. Sometimes i have him resting on one forearm under his butt

I either lean back, keeping him on me, or I sit him on the breastfeeding pillow then let him lean on me, or I'll put him over my shoulder both arms past my shoulder, or Face him outwards, and put him in a seated position

I second the belly to belly and having her on my chest, she falls asleep very quick and you can change the incline prop yourself up more when she needs to burp or lean back a little more for comfort

Belly to belly

Nassim I love the diagram!!😂❤️

Would putting her in a baby carrier work?

Yeah baby carriers are great for this. Unfortunately my LO rarely likes being in it. But wants to be held constantly 😂 bloody babies

@Jessica it is an optimistic question, it just arrived today and haven't tried it yet 😂 it was a panic purchase as my baby also wants holding constantly, I barley have chance to make a sandwich!
