Beige pram advice

Does anyone have the icandy peach 7 in cookie (or similar!) and can advise whether to steer clear of a light colour pram? We are in love with it but I’m worried it’s going to get absolutely destroyed!

i’d just go for it, yeah it’ll probably get destroyed as they become a toddler but to be honest without sounding harsh everything does haha even black/dark colours! they’re sometimes worse in my opinion! we have beige sofas at home and they mask quite a few things 😂

go for it!!

I’ve gone for a biscuit colour pram as I didn’t want black as that seems to be the basic colour everyone goes for , I want to be different and if it gets mucky I’m sure I can clean if x

I have the olive which isn’t as light as this but equally not black and it doesn’t have one mark on it yet which is amazing because it’s been on the tubes in London and 2 holidays. Go for it!

If the seat cover in the upright seat can be machine washed I wouldn’t be too worried. Our dark grey has been covered in all sorts (ice cream, sauce, poo at one point 🙈) and it all shows up but the covers could be machine washed and it’s come up as good as new!

Tbh I find it's more the metal, basket/wheels that gets dirty instead of the fabric

I had the egg2 in the feather and it didn’t really get dirty at all, the frame did but that’s easily cleanable x

I have had a cream coloured pram and I love it tbh. It wasnt until I had a toddler it started to get more mucky but I just chuck the seat attachment in the wash and it comes out clean. The hood doesnt really get dirty except a slight mark where I put it in and out of the car. Would def get another light colour! X

I have a black pram and I’m forever cleaning it 🤦🏼‍♀️ when it rains, I get water marks on the outside, even if I use the rain cover

I had an egg in a cream Jurassic and it didn’t get destroyed at all .. it stayed pretty clean actually. I’d go for whatever colour you love. You’ll be mindful when you do things with it.

I’ve got the venicci tinum in beige, it’s only got dirty once when he was poorly and has a nappy explosion🤣

We have a light grey stroller. My husband wanted that colour because he was concerned about a dark colour getting hotter in the sun. We haven’t had issues with it being dirty or anything.

I went for a different pram but in light grey and it’s fine. Black gets just as mucky and lots of prams have washable fabrics

Ive gone for a light colour pram from.mamas and papas and it has a coating over it. So any dirt you let it dry then wipe off with a damp cloth. I'd imagine most prams have this now.

Avatar

Worth noting we have a sheepskin liner for the inside. They help with temp regulation but it’s also protected the lining/seat of the pram 😊

i think it’s fine, prams get no way near as dirty as you’d assume but even so, they’re easy to clean. i avoid giving my son food in it and other than that there isn’t really a reason for it to get dirty (coming from a clean freak) x

Leaky nappy help

What nappies are you using to stop leaks?? We use pampers ultra dry size 5, and for the past few nights he has lashed through and we’ve had to completely change him during the night. Last night he leashed through twice!! He sleeps on his front and stays leaks through at the top of his leg where the tabs connect. Didn’t know whether to size up, he has a bit of a belly on him but he’s smack in middle of weight guidance so shouldn’t need too

Am I wrong?

I’ve been wanting to add more garden beds to my garden. Husband says “hey do you want to go to Home Depot to get that wood for the garden beds.” Cool I’m excited I’ve been wanting to get this done for awhile.

We get there and we’re picking out wood and I make 2 comments about how I don’t like how 2 pieces of wood look that he picked out. And he says if you’re going to be this picky then u can do this yourself.

I literally made 2 comments and mind you I’m the one paying for the wood.

I felt dismissed and like my opinion didn’t matter and if I wanted to have an opinion then I need to do it myself. Like what?

It was rude and not okay. Am I wrong? Am I overreacting?

He thinks it was fine that he said that.

5.30am wakeups 😫😴

My 15 week old has started waking up about 5.30am and is really hard to settle back down - it’s like he thinks it’s time to wake up for the day. He used to go to bed at 9pm and was up at 8am but now he goes to bed between 7.30-8pm as he’s knackered by then but waking up at 5.30am😴. Any advice to get him to sleep a little longer in the morning?! Even an extra hour would be lovely 🤣
