Hey all!
Little girl is 6 months old. Whenever I try and get her to go to bed for the night in her crib, it’s like she just becomes wide awake!!
I’ve tried everything; feeding to sleep then transferring, putting down drowsy, letting self settle etc… nothing seems to be working!
Tonight for example, I’ve gave her half of her bottle and then laid her down when I noticed she started getting sleepy, ready to give her the rest of her bottle and hopes that it’ll see her off. She’s still wide awake rolling about in her cot just babbling.
I am exhausted and I’m so overwhelmed. We’ve spent the past however long co sleeping because it just isn’t working, but then I’m barely sleeping because I’m so conscious she’s beside me
I really don’t know what to do; my partner (her dad) won’t even attempt to put her to bed because he thinks that she will just get more riled up and playful if he does the bedtime routine - he’s never properly attempted.
Any tips/advice???? 😴😴😴😴

Is she rolling around happy and babbling away? Or does she get to a point where she gets upset or a little moany/overtired? Just wondering if she's happily rolling around, she might tire herself out and just fall asleep (therefore self settle)!

I could have written this myself! My LO is definitely going through 6 months regression as she use to sleep thrpugh to morning once she went into deep sleep. But recently wakes up crying every hour or as soon as she's put in crib. Finally asleep by 10.30/11ish . It's exhausting 😪 and yeah when her dad tries to make her sleep she thinks it's play time, falls asleep in his arms as he rocks her as soon as she's put down she's wide awake and smiling 🤦🏽♀️. Hoping it gets better soon !
she rolls around happy etc for a while but then starts to get upset! She’s also realised she can bang the side of the cot and make noise, and she’s also managed to pull the baby monitor down🙈
it is tough!!!! She managed to go to sleep at 11pm in her cot, woke up 1am and finally back off at 1:40😭😭😭😭praying it gets better for us!!!!
