loose bowels

TMI but is loose bowels a genuine sign of impending labour? ive had extremely loose bowels the past 2 days, but im not eating anything that would give me loose bowels if that makes sense. my bump has dropped extremely low down and im getting crazy lightning crotch when walking and cramps in my back. i cant tell if this is just all third trimester symptoms or a sign of labour haha

From what I understand it means your body is preparing but labour can still be weeks away. I had a couple of days of it earlier this week (I'm 37+3) but they have gone back to normal now. Similar to baby being engaged (with lightning crotch etc), it's a sign that things are going in the right direction but very likely still weeks away. Sorry if you were getting excited haha

I’ve had a really easily upset tummy on and off for a week or so now too, it’s grim. Lots of people saying it is a sign it’s coming soon but I have a feeling I’ll go a little past my date.

Scan needed at 33 weeks

Hi ladies! I just had a midwife appointment (I am 33+5)..the midwife was different to my usual midwife. She's requested I have a scan within 72 hours as she said baby is measuring a little small, however, she did say that it's likely nothing to worry about and it's probably just her measuring me a bit different to my usual midwife. Has anyone else had this? Am a bit worried although babys heartbeat and movements are completely fine.

normal or infected?

5 weeks post c section , i went at the beginning of the week as my wound had opened completely different area to what’s leaking. was told it didn’t look infected. anyone know if this is normal coming off it, it’s only a little amount at a time

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲

Baby names

My daughter‘s name is valentýna and I’m struggling to find other nice girl and boy names beginning with V I’ve got a few and I’ve got loads that aren’t beginning with V, but I feel like I wanna go for all vs and I also love girl and boys names that match so because my daughter’s name is valentýna I would love to call my son Valentino my husband does not agree 😃
