FTM 40w+1 today and dying to go into labor. Anyone else still waiting for their little one?

I’m 41w today and I’m definitely uncomfortable. My back/hips bother me but no contractions 🤷🏼‍♀️

41w! I feel for you! Truly should be any day. This waiting is the worst..

I’m also 41w today too! Also lots of back and hip pain. Lots of Braxton Hicks like all day but no real contractions. I’m sure we’ll all meet our babies soon though🫶🏻

have they talked to you about induction?

41w+4d today and ive been feeling what you’ve described for the last 2-3 weeks now. When i initially get up its so hard to walk😅
Don’t recall this with my last 2 pregnancies at all but maybe butts in my pelvis instead of heads were a blessing in disguise lol

yeah we actually started day 1 of outpatient induction today. My cervix has been completely closed and far back so they have me going in to get monitored and to get a cervix ripening pill (misoprostol) stuck up near my cervix every day from today through Sunday. If that doesn’t help my body start laboring then I have to go in Monday for a real induction :/ what about you?

I was 2cm and 70% effaced on Wednesday at my appointment, I got a membrane sweep but so far it’s done nothing. I’m suppose to go in Monday at 6am for my induction as well!

Jealous of your progress! I actually started having intense contractions last night (~1 min each, 2-3 mins apart, for 3 hours) and went in to the hospital and they monitored me for another hour or so and told me I had only dilated 1cm so they sent me home😭 still having contractions and have to go back today to get checked again. Have you started having any contractions yet?

Yes girl I’m 40+3 and done everything under the sun lol and nothing besides still at a 2cm since Tuesday and membrane sweep and all and nothing so frustrating I feel ya

The second dose of misoprostol did the trick for me! We ended up welcoming our little boy into the world on Sunday morning at 2:22am. I hope your induction went/goes well today!🫶🏻

awww huge congrats! I hope you’re enjoying every second of this as much as you can and that your recovery is smooth and speedy🩵 how big was your baby? Ours was 8lbs and 14oz 😅 a big boy but apparently appropriate size for how long he stuck around inside hahah
