is 32 weeks too early to pack?

hi, i don’t know if this sounds weird to even ask, but i’m 32 weeks on tuesday and have almost everything ready for mine and baby’s hospital bag (thank god), but im thinking is this too early actually get packed up to be ready to go? should i wait until 37 weeks? with my last two, i left everything until last minute (ended up packing horribly and deeply regretted it, i was literally packing it during early labour).

when did you/are you packing your bags for them to be ready to go? x

this is my 3rd, however with both girls were overdue and im sure the same will happen again lol.

I don’t think it’s too early to start! You need to think about taking quite a lot of things so it’s worth just getting organised and starting to collect bits and bobs and putting them together now. It took me a few weeks to fully do mine. I think my bag was packed by 35 weeks maybe? It can never hurt to be organised x

If you don’t want to pack a bag, just put stuff onto particular shelf and make a detailed list with stating where something is so that you need 10 minutes to pack everything . 99% you will have hours knowing you are in labor before going to hospital and you will have time to pack. 10 minutes you will definitely have (or your husband). I am stressed by bags, that’s what I do

With my first, I packed at 30 weeks! I don't think 32 is too early!

Not too early, it’s being prepared and avoiding a stressy rush

I think I'm going to start packing mine at 30. I'd rather know it's there and do it before I get too tired and uncomfortable!

i started packing at 32 weeks and slowly reaserched what to pack and got it as and went i went shopping and was packed by 35 weeks it’s best to be ready xx

My midwife said to have bags packed by 34 weeks so it's ready to go.
We're going away for a weekend just before I turn 34 weeks so going to make sure it's all done by 33 weeks so I can take them with me in the car, just in case..

Never too early. Just think, if it happened tomorrow would you trust your partner to pack everything you need in a panic? 🤭 I wouldn’t! I like matching pjs and socks so I packed early and made sure I was ready. And I went into labour early too!

I’d say never too early I hadn’t packed mine fully and then was running round after my waters broke at 35 weeks trying to pack 🤦🏽‍♀️x

thank you so much ladies, i will defo enjoy packing now rather than trying to hold out! ❤️ it definitely is better to be prepared sooner than later xx

I’m 30 weeks and I’ve already started getting most of my bag ready - rather not have to think about if everything is packed when the time comes

My health visitor kept telling me to get packing at 32 weeks….lucky i listened i gave birth at 33 weeks! Always better to be prepared then not x

i’m 32 weeks and both mine and baby’s bags are packed. i would say it’s never too early but you can be too late😂

Avatar

Not too early. Just get it done and then can forget about it. I had mine in the boot of car and was certainly thankful of it. By the time I realised I was in labour it was all very rushed and would have been in no state to pack a bag or even think 🤣

Avatar

I’m 30 weeks and have everything washed ready to pack! No harm in ticking another thing of the to do list! X

Not too early, a midwife from a class I go to said ideally from 32 weeks to have your bag packed 😊

Induction?

Anyone been induced before? Was it more painful? Better than thought? Worse than thought? Worth it? Thoughts?

Ms. Aura Alyse is here 👑🌈🫶🏽

Worth the wait and pain. Baby girl arrived at 7:15 this am weighing 7lbs 6oz. She is so calm and chill.

Induction or c section?

As a last resort, would you rather be induced or have a planned c section?

Really not liking the thought of being induced from people’s experiences I’ve read!

Growth scan

So had my 28 week midwife appointment- all good but after measuring bump- I’m now waiting on a scan within a few days as bump is measuring small I’m not worried as I am guessing a tape measure is hardly accurate but
For anyone who has been in a similar position- what was the outcome after the scan? Was the baby on the smaller side ?
Was baby measuring normal?

Thanks
