Pre-verbal, developing understanding, copying lots of actions and starting to copy sounds.
Social interaction is definitely less so than typical children.
We see speech monthly / we have to pay.
What else do you do or what do the professionals do to help your children over there? Early intervention doesn’t exist here sadly :(

Idk about the extra young but my 6 year old that just recently diagnosed gets up to 20 hrs a week one on one with a specialist that works with him on any and all things he needs help with right now they focusing on my boys speech and potty training and a bit of walking safely such as looking before crossing street and holding hands I wish I would have seen the signs sooner to get help earlier but he is doing great

I believe everything is covered by insurance here besides maybe certain equipment. If you don’t have money insurance is provided to you. I’m starting with “early-on” tomorrow for my hard of hearing baby. He’s 9 weeks old. Next week we will be fitted for free hearing aids. Early on is a developmental specialist that works with the school district that comes to our home does activities and scores baby to see if they are on or behind the developmental milestones for their age group. If they fall behind they try to get them caught up or if they aren’t qualified they make referrals to whatever they need whether it’s physical therapy or speech classes whatever.
That’s so sad that they don’t have more there! Where are you?
this sounds like a great support!
we are in the UK. We are paying for speech therapy ourselves. We have a health service but it’s very stretched so we referred to them last summer and they saw us once last month. And I guess you could argue we pay like you guys do insurance as we pay a national insurance here out of our wages. I’d love a developmental specialist to work with little one!
That’s confusing 2 cassies 🤭
